Recap of my takeaways from the Training Industry Conference & Expo

Last week I travelled to Raleigh, NC for the Training Industry Conference & Expo (TICE) 2023. This was my first TICE, and actually the first conference dedicated to learning & development (L&D) I have ever gone to. I was there with around 600 other L&D and HR professionals, which is the perfect size conference for me. I will definitely be attending again next year!

Over the 2 days, I attended 9 sessions and 3 keynotes. #informationoverload but in the best ways possible. I met some of the most amazing people and came away reenergized with new ideas and insights. I took pages and pages of notes throughout the conference but I wanted to make sure I kept these new thoughts really top of mind. But how?

Well, I am fascinated with those videos of people taking visual or graphic notes. I love a good infographic. Could I do something like that? Yeah, I can do that.

It took me several days, LOTS of trial and error, and patience with myself to put this together. But I am really proud of how it came together.
